Allan Beswick broadcast on Red Rose Radio (in Lancashire).
He was arguably UK's first "shock jock". If you're a fan of "talk radio"(the genre not the station) then this comes highly recommended.
Wikipedia says "An on-air incident led to his being banned for a period by the Independent Broadcasting Authority for being abusive to a caller." That's funny, because he was abusive to many of his callers!
